Meriwether County Employee Open Enrollment
The open enrollment period for the State Health Plan begins Tuesday, October 11, 2011 and runs through Thursday, November 10, 2011. It is imperative that each employee who participates in this health insurance fill out a new enrollment form in order to participate for the calendar year 2012. This process will involve going to the internet and processing the enrollment form online. There are certain questions that must be answered in order to avoid surcharges for either tobacco and/or spousal charges. The web address is available by going to our school system website and searching the “Employee Benefits” link which is located underneath the “For Staff” tab. This link will bring you to our Employee Benefits portal where you can choose the State Health button, and you will automatically be mapped to the State Health website. This process is an online system per the Department of Community Health.
